Mr. sixpack breaks the news: Yards to open brewpub in NJ (probably).
Pottstown would have been better.
UPDATE: I join the fine folks at Yards in scolding Don Russell for his irresponsible reporting, breaking news that people don’t want out yet. For shame. Besides, I thought that was my job.
In any case, Steve Mashington emails that “If this thing in NJ ever happens, it won’t be for at least 1 year. Minimum.”

Through my narcotic induced haze, I ask only one thing: How far is Merchantville NJ from Pottstown PA?
Merchantville bought this place through a bond issue? Unless it’s part of an area officially listed as a redevelopment zone I would think that the borough would have to run an auction of the property.
