Here comes Hawthornes.

Drew Lazor at Meal Ticket is reporting that Chris Fetfatzes and gal pal Heather Annechiaricos will open their their 38-seat beer café Hawthornes two weeks from tomorrow. It will be located at 738 S. 11 St, the original site of Bella Vista Distributing before it moved across the street last year.

I swear that, as Lew point out here, it’s damned near impossible to keep up with all the new places in the city any longer. If I ever hit the lottery (which, since I don’t play) is pretty unlikely to happen, I’d rent a room downtown and spend a week just going to all the new places that didn’t used to be.
Okay, two weeks. There really are a lot of them.
