I just posted the listing for a really interesting beer dinner over at the Beer Yard, and it brought out my inner redneck for a minute there, sorry.
In any case, as you can see from that listing, a significant sampling of Philly’s Beer Chicks will be on hand, as well as the authors of the book, which is subtitled “An Unadulterated Guide to Craft Beer,” whatever than means. I’m going to take it to mean “not for adults” and that makes it perfect for this audience.
And don’t give me any grief about that “beer chicks” thing either, because those very words are used in the title of co-author Christina Perozzi’s website, Beer for Chicks. So there.

Seriously, given the setting, the price and the company, I’d have to call this one a Very Good Deal. Great restaurant, exciting menu, interesting topic and chicks (lord, I do love being inoculated for using that word at the moment, but notice that I did no push my luck by adding “hot”).
I recall reading about The Naked Pint (talk about “pimping up,” they said “naked,” giggle) somewhere on the net a while back and then again at GABF. I’ve not seen the book nor have an further information, but while I am book-deprived, others are not, so we should have some thoughtful and informed insights in the near future.
Christina Perozzi is very pleasing to the eye.
