Is the PLCB trying to smooth things over behind the scenes?

I am hearing, from third parties who are not in any way involved in all the current nonsense (so this is unconfirmed, a rumor at best), that representatives of the PLCB have contacted some of the people they’re raided (Don Russell is reporting that several other beer distributors around the state have been subjected to visits in search of unregistered beers) and asking what they can do to help rectify things.
If it’s true, that’s a tacit acknowledgment that they know they screwed up and are really feeling the heat.
