Where I was. Why and what I did will have to wait.

I will post in more detail this coming week, but here is a brief summary of my non-too-extensive but eclectic activities in the week that ends today: Firkins for Firefighters at TJ’s Restaurant & Drinkery last Tuesday (with a drop-in at Craft Ale House on the way home; private press lunch with visiting beer folks from England at Resurrection Ale House, side-trips to Sidecar Bar & Grille and Grace Tavern & the Sam Calagione/Tomme Arthur Rare Beer event at Nodding Head Brewery & Restaurant on Wednesday, with drop-in at Craft Ale House again on the way home; Dawson Street Pub, Manayunk Brewery & Restaurant for the “Philly Beer Geek” judging and then Dawson Street redux on Thursday; Bobo Fest at The Beer Yard and Teresa’s Next Door on Friday; Main Line Jazz Fest and Teresa’s again on Saturday, followed by McKenzie Brew House and the Stone/BrewDog event at TJ’s.

Today the humidity and threat of rain has caused us, by which I mean long-term visitor Carl P who has usurped Buddy’s usual position on my couch, to forgo the Dock Street Brewery Music Fest (a decision still subject to change) and will instead involve dinner at South Philly Tap Room and signing off on PBW 2010 at Fergie’s Pub for a Totally Unnecessary Drink.
