Tomorrow night at McGillin’s.

I assume everybody is clued in on the Send a Brewer to Belgium Night thing at McGillin’s Olde Ale House.

It’s a raffle, starting at 7pm,  where you have a a chance to win an all expense trip to Belgium and take a local brewer along where you will both help brew a Philly Beer Week 2011 collaborative beer with world-renowned brewer Dirk Naudts of De Proef Brouwerij.

It’s $5 a ticket or $20 for five of them; the money benefits PBW. You write your name and that of the brewer you’d like to travel with on each ticket. The winner will be drawn at 8:30.

These are the brewers from whom you can choose:

Ben Potts (Dock Street)
Bob Barrar (Iron Hill Media)
Bill Covaleski (Victory)
Bill Moore (Lancaster)
Brett Kintzer (Stoudt’s)
Brian O’Reilly (Sly Fox)
Casey Hughes (Flying Fish)
Chris Wilson (Weyerbacher)
Doug Marchakitus (Manayunk)
Gordon Grubb (Nodding Head)
Jon Carpenter (Dogfish Head)
Rob Pfeiffer (Twin Lakes)
Tom Kehoe (Yards)

Cool event but, really, isn’t taking a brewer to Belgium the ultimate “coals to Newcastle” situation?
