Flanigan’s Boathouse Comes to Wayne.

I am told that a Flanigan’s Boathouse will open on North Avenue in Wayne at the site of the current (and to be closed this weekend) Wooden Iron in the next couple of weeks. Makes sense because one of the Wooden Iron partners is also a part of the Boathouse chain ownership.
Pretty soon that whole, once sedate and proper street is gonna be bars. Fortunately, there’s a lot of good beer pouring at a few of them.
I’d guess this is a plan to take advantage of the overflow from the Great American Pub right around the corner which is just plain jammed most evenings. Interestingly, there is a GAP right up the street from the Conshohocken Flanigan’s.
