Port Brewing/Lost Abbey on draught at Union Jack’s October 18 (almost certainly).
When people ask me about the on-again, off-again, any-day-now Port Brewing/Lost Abbey all-draught event at Union Jack’s on the Manatawny, my stock answer is “this thing was based upon careful planning between Tomme Arthur and Tom Steigelmann. What did you think was going to happen?”
Well, I ran into Tom (the Steigelmann one) about an hour ago and he tells me that whatever you thought was going to happen is now almost certainly going to happen on October 18.
Almost certainly.
He also said that, Tomme having accepted the blame for whatever mixup(s) there have been, may be tossing in a couple of extra sixtels, making a total of 12 Port/Lost Abbey beers which will be flowing that day.
Almost certainly.
I will post definite news, almost certainly, when it is definite.
Meanwhile, Mr. Steigelmann and Mr. Brian O’Reilly are working on a Sly Fox event for Manatawny which will be, should they come even close to pulling it off, another Must Attend Gathering (including, maybe especially including, all you West Coast aficionados).
But this one, of course, will involve careful planning between Steigelmann and O’Reilly.
Lord, some days it just seems like we are cursed, don’t it?
