The beers of Limerick.

Gary Fry of the Craft Ale House just called with the good news that all went well with the PLCB yesterday and everything is set for the debut next week. And, as I promised yesterday, he gave me a breakdown on some of the beers that will be pouring when the doors open.

While he’s still waiting for his distributors to confirm some of the brews he’s ordered, these are likely to be on come Monday:

Victory Old Horizontal (with St. Victorious Doppelbock waiting in the wings), DFH 90-Minute IPA, Lancaster Belgian Tripel (“we’ll probably be among the first in the area with that one”) and Milk Stout (nitro), Yards Brawler, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Fantome Noel, Royersford ESB (contract brewed at Sly Fox), Ommegang Abbey Ale and Southampton Christmas Ale.

Corsendonk Christmas Ale may be there as well, along with similar beers he can land. All of this, obviously, is not set in stone…or even Stone.

If I don’t get over there to check things out this weekend, I will definitely stop in on Monday and let you know how it goes.

Now I have to work on getting to Local 44 New Year’s Day…
