Glory, Glory, Hammer on the road. Somewhere. [UPDATE]
You remember the soon to be legendary Hammer of Glory, right?

There was a big discussion here about what to call it. They have apparently settled on HOG.
Seriously.
How it’s getting around to the around to which it’s getting remains a closely held secret. It seems that the Hammer of Glory’s Ride to Glory is still being determined. Isn’t that glorious?
Mr. Sixpack, risking being stripped of his secret decoder, has at least snuck out of the inner sanctum to fire off a message revealing a bit of the arcanum, the final leg of the journey. That’s a good thing. Plus he throws me a bone in the process, another good thing.
If you see a hammer on the road
Don’t stop and ask where it’s bound
Lord, it’s such a heavy load
And they’re trying to make some ground.

Hey, no secrets here. Spill…
[...] Plus there’s more, received just now from the lips of Suzanne the Beer Lass, who called from her car she was so excited (or maybe bored on her long drive to Doylestown to do Beer Lass-y things) with word that the Fox will be the official sponsor of the final leg of the HOG delivery relay discussed below. Thanks to Sly Fox and Suzanne Woods for the threads, and Stephen Bilenky and Simon Firth for the great cargo bike!
I bike just about everywhere I go, and I can’t help but think it might be fun to follow Messrs Franklin and Fava from Nodding Head to the Comcast Center. And possibly follow them (and the Hammer) through the door? Maybe? For a poor but enthusiastic beer drinker?
Wear a helmet and pedal fast when you hit the doorstep.
Sounds like a tradition in the making. Madness!
“They have apparently settled on HOG. Seriously.”
There is nothing SERIOUS about the HOG.
