Of particularly note to those of us out in this part of the world among the previously unrevealed winners were The Beer Yard for Best Suburban Beer Wholesaler and the Sly Fox Goat Races for Best Beer Event.  The latter I certainly would have thought should be among the publicly announced over many of those which were included ( and no, I’m not saying which ones).

The full list also changes the perception of things a bit. While Weyerbacher Brewing was, and remains, the clear star of the show for the voters, Tröegs Brewing picked up a handful of medals that also makes one sit up and take notice.

It was a good night, all in all, but I really think they need to come up with a way of noting all the honorees at this celebration if it is going to become an annual thing, either a reading of the list the winners in all the categories for which there is no public presentation or, at a minimum, a nicely printed list of booklet of all the winners.
