I just had a fine Skype conference with my son and (extremely noisy) and active granddaughter and grandson. The folks at Tröegs, fine human beings one and all (although John can make you nervous), were kind enough to ship two growlers of the championship Biere de Grouch to Idaho so that he could enjoy it just as you lucky local folks have, or will.
To be fair, I tried to have that other guy’s Zwickel Licker sent as well but it was rejected by UPS on moral grounds. It’s hard to imagine that somebody would go to all that trouble to brew a politically-correct and career-advancing beer and then be tone-deaf enough to give it a porn star name.
Or maybe not. Think about it.
I assume this will be blamed on the PLCB.

Nah, it was a Tröegs suggestion, and it fit too perfectly — the idea of the beer being an unfiltered lager like you would get right from the brewery tank — to be concerned with mere questions of prudish perception. I’m surprised that you’d see it that way.
I did not know there was a legal way to ship beer. What you received must have been ‘yeast samples’.
I was a sender (by proxy, Tröegs did the shipping), not a receiver. And shipping beer is perfectly legal these days. I get and send all the time.
>Nah, it was a Tröegs suggestion…<
Geez, Lew, you didn’t even name your own beer? That’s sad.
